Cabo Hotels: After the Spring Break Crowds
Some tourists staying at our Cabo Hotel might be looking for a slightly more refined experience over their vacation break. Some feel the heart of Cabo San Lucas looks like a frat boy's dream, with fun houses like the Giggling Marlin, Squid Roe and Cabo Wabo (home to the aging rock star Sammy Hagar and his house band, the Waboritas). If Saturday night in downtown Cabo sounds a little too immature, fear not, there are many less "adolescent" choices. Mango Cantina The Mango Cantina is famous for its casual and cool ambiance. It has recently moved to a new location near the marina, just in front of the Puerto Paraiso Mall. Here you can enjoy delicious food and the now famous tropical and frozen drinks. Like Pueblo Bonito, they also have the "you catch it, we cook it" policy. The Office Times have changed, but The Office on the beach has stayed the same offering authentic Cabo style 'your-toes-in-the-sand' dining. At this restaurant, you can enjoy informal elegance with your feet firmly planted in the beach sand, year-round, from 7 am to 10 pm. Sunday and Thursday evenings there is always a lively Mexican Fiesta with pre-hispanic and traditional folk dances, piñatas, tequila shooters on the house, a waiters' show, audience participation and dancing under the stars until 11 pm. Pacifica's Refresca Refresca is in a perfect location that is both convenient for our patrons and a distinct location with calming beach views. There is no cover for Refresca. It offers a nice laid back spot for wines, spirits, and lighter fare. In the same Cabo hotel is Aire, a poolside bar that serves refreshments and cocktails, as well as Wine Bar, a place to enjoy healthy juices and snacks. Cabo has so many styles and experiences, so choose the ambience that is right for you! Let loose and party like an animal, or chill out and enjoy the surroundings. It's not hard to find something to cater to you in Cabo San Lucas.
