What to Do in Mazatlan: More Fun & Unique Activities

There's so much to do in Mazatlan, we could never list everything! Here are a few more fun activities that you can schedule right from the concierge at our Mazatlan resorts Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan and Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. We are happy to help you book! Pacifico Brewery Tour Walk through the Pacifico Brewery and witness the process of beer making. The museum is located on the top floor of the tower where you can enjoy a sample of Pacifico and admire the panoramic view of Mazatlan. Contact concierge desk to check the days and hours of the tours. Note: do not wear excessively loose clothing. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are needed when taking this tour since you will be walking through an operating plant. Also, cameras and video tapes are not allowed and be prepared to leave all backpacks and belongings in the office. Touring the Pacifico Brewery's tasty products. Mazatlan Aquarium View more than 300 species from all over the world at the Mazatlan Aquarium. Observe everything from intimidating sharks and scary piranhas to harmless seahorses. The main objective of the Mazatlan Aquarium is to have visitors learn to respect the marine ecosystem through the knowledge of marine species. Next to the aquarium is the Botanical Garden, where guests can get to know the regional flora and fauna. Inside the garden is a small zoo that houses deer, crocodiles and various species of birds. The Mazatlan Aquarium is perfect for a family outing with its interesting sea museum, trained seal show and an auditorium with a film about sea life. Visit one of the best aquariums in Latin America and one of Mazatlan's main attractions. They have a Show every half hour, the first one is at 10.30 a.m. Diving show, then 11.00 a.m. Sea Lions show, 11.30 a.m. Birds show and start again with the Diving show. Mazagua Water Park Mazatlan's water park gives kids lots of chances to cool off with giant water slides, tube rides and a wave pool. Prices: General $120.00 Adults and children above 3 years. Estero del Yugo Hidden just north of the water park Mazaqua on Ave. Sábalo Cerritos are saltwater and freshwater lagoons and a tropical dry forest. They provide a habitat for over 200 species of aquatic and terrestrial birds, and numerous mammals such as the bobcat and deer. Enjoy a peaceful guided tour around the lagoons and forest and watch wildlife from the nature observatory or viewing tower. All proceeds go toward the conservation efforts of CISAD in preserving this vital habitat, which is home to several endangered and threatened species.
