Delighting visitors to Baja Mexico and residents alike, the annual San Jose del Cabo Art Walk begins each November and runs through June of the following year. Thursdayevenings from 5 to 9:00 pm, you’re invited to stroll through the back streets of San Jose del Cabo’s colorful neighborhoods. In recent years, the Art Walk has exploded in popularity as it continues to draw in crowds from the main square. Long promoted by the Gallery District Association, in coordination with local government, the central road of Obregon is closed to vehicles for these magical hours.
Music plays in the street alongside food vendors, and merchants hang their colorful crafts. Late into the evening, downtown is bursting with commercial life, and in the cultural heart of San Jose—the Gallery District—you’re likely to discover stunning examples of contemporary painting and sculpture, wine tastings, and daring live performance art. Complete your night with dinner and drinks at one of the area’s popular restaurants before turning in for the evening.
