The Perfect Day at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach
A day in Cabo is a day in paradise. Whether you want to just lounge by the beautiful pool at Sunset Beach or have a full day of fun activities, one thing you'll never be is disappointed! With so many routes to take, it can be hard to decide what to do. Here is just one way to have the perfect day at our spectacular Cabo resort Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. Start the day off right with a satisfying breakfast and a breezy ocean view at La Nao Restaurant. If you're in Cabo on a Sunday, you'll be able to catch the elegant champagne brunch from 9am to 2pm. This lavish and bountiful brunch buffet is widely recognized as being Cabo's finest! It features live jazz music to go along with the delicious array of food, and children 12 and under are half price. After breakfast, make your way to the main pool and spend some time sunbathing, followed by an invigorating game of volleyball in the pool. Games organized by pool staff are always going on, so join the fun! With a healthy volleyball workout under your belt, now it's time to stimulate your mind! Have you always wanted to learn Spanish? Or want to know how we make those unique swan towels found in your suite? Take a Spanish class or a towel folding class with our easy-going and well-trained staff. Check with the concierge at any of our Cabo resorts for daily scheduled activities. Stimulating activities are the best way to work up an appetite. Head to The Bistro for lunch and enjoy thin-crust pizzas from the brick oven, a variety of authentic Mexican food (try the mole!), freshly prepared sushi, soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas and more. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Tip: ask for a table on the balcony for the perfect Cabo resort dining experience. If lunch hasn't inspired you to take a little siesta, head over to the tennis courts and have a friendly afternoon match. The courts are free to use during the day, and you can rent rackets for $5 usd each from the concierge. Tennis balls are complimentary.
After working up a sweat, you deserve a drink. Afterall, you are in Cabo! Grab your swimsuit and take a quick golf-cart ride up to the sky pool for a refreshing mojito or margarita. Happy hour is from 3 - 4pm. Relax, take in the sweeping view along the infinity edge pool and let your cares drift away. For an evening to remember, make a reservation (dinner only from 6 to 11 pm) at LaFrida. This truly gourmet restaurant features extraordinary Mexican cuisine in a vintage 1920's smoke-free dining room decorated with clothing and jewelry akin to Frida Kahlo. The decadent food is matched only by the flawless service.
After dinner, sneak down to the shore and take an evening stroll along Sunset Beach's peaceful private beach. Head back to your room to prepare for an exciting night on the town then catch the hourly shuttle over to Pueblo Bonito Rose. From there, walk or take a quick taxi ride to downtown and explore Cabo's nightlife scene. Make the rounds at Zoo Bar, Cabo Wabo and El Squid Roe or enjoy the night sky as you stroll along the marina. Tip: If you are craving a midnight snack upon your return to the resort, a special night owl menu is available at El Bistro from 10pm to 6am.
