Shake, Sip, and Savor: The Mixology Experience at Pacific Lab

At Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort, the Pacific Lab Airstream isn't just a bar. It's a classroom, a laboratory, and a front-row seat to the art of craft cocktails, all with the Pacific Ocean as your backdrop.

Every Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m., the Pacific Lab—located next to the Constellation Pool near the beach—becomes the setting for one of Pacifica's most intimate and sought-after offerings: a private mixology experience led by our Head Mixologist.

This isn't a scripted demonstration or a passive tasting. From the moment you settle in, our Head Mixologist draws you into the craft, beginning with a Classic Margarita, its history, its balance, its technique. You'll learn not just how to make it, but why it works. From there, the experience becomes yours. Choose a cocktail you've always wanted to master, and your guide will walk you through every step: the ingredients, the methods, the nuances that separate a good drink from an extraordinary one.

The session closes with a Carajillo, one of Mexico’s most beloved digestifs, made by your own hands and savored as the golden hour settles over the Pacific. There's something quietly triumphant about that final pour.

Pacific Lab was born from a simple conviction: that a cocktail can be a genuine expression of place. Every recipe our mixologists create draws from the flavors and culture of Baja California Sur, using local ingredients, artisanal infusions, and techniques that push the boundaries of what's in the glass. The menu shifts with the season, reflecting whatever is freshest and most inspired at any given moment. More than a creative space, Pacific Lab is where our team builds a real connection with each guest. No two experiences are the same, and that's entirely the point.

The Mixology Experience at Pacific Lab is available every Sunday afternoon and is open to guests staying at any of the Pueblo Bonito Golf & Spa Resorts in Los Cabos. The experience accommodates up to six guests and is priced at $500 MXN for all-inclusive guests and $850 MXN for guests staying with the European plan (prices and schedules are subject to change).

The experience is subject to availability and reservations are required; please call extension 645 to secure your spot. For groups or special occasions, exceptions to the standard occupancy limit may be available with advance planning, so reach out early.
