Fine Art Mixed with International Cuisine at La Nao
With a stunning oceanfront location and a prime evening view, the La Nao Restaurant is a glass and marble pavilion filled with light and the aroma of artful cuisine just off the main pool at Sunset Beach Resort and Spa in Cabo.
The La Nao name refers to a classical Spanish galleon and represents the excitement and romance of the sea in an earlier time. The menu was inspired by proud Spanish explorers who navigated the majestic ocean in the 1500s in search unimaginable riches and spices across the Pacific Ocean that ranged from Manila to Acapulco.
La Nao Restaurant rests near the sea where the galleon would have passed only minutes before being surpassed by pirate ships at the Cape San Lucas. With so much history and adventure, the restaurant wanted its food and flavor to depict the excitement and cultural richness of the area. Focusing on fine dining, tradition cruise and sea food, this restaurant provides the richness of flavor in an unforgettable setting that have become synonymous with our properties.
Even the art of La Nao Restaurant relates to the themes of adventure and navigation. In the rear of the restaurant hangs an imposing painting of the La Nao galleon under attack by a raiding British ship. On the other side, an Italian tile mural of an exquisite mermaid swimming rapturously among a colorful school of fish that cover the walls along a marble buffet where the La Nao's scrumptious brunches and festive them night banquet are present.
The restaurant offers elegant all-day dining with special festive theme nights for each day of the week. In my opionon, La Nao has one of the absolute best Sunday brunches in Cabo San Lucas. Perfect for a family brunch or romantic dinner, don't for get to make a reservation at La Nao when in Cabo.
