Pueblo Bonito Pacifica's Most Asked Questions

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Hotel and Spa is the first and only wellness luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas. This exceptional gem in the Pueblo Bonito family is distinctively oriented towards relaxation and rejuvenation. The hotel surrounds guests with a magnificent setting, incorporating unique elements that envelop the property. The accommodations reflect the resort's motif of elegance without indulgence through the finest materials, chic design, Zen-inspired amenities and, most importantly, invigorating ocean views. Due to its unique nature and philosophy, many have asked questions about the location or services. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions from our guests. Is the hotel located on a swimmable beach? The hotel is located on a pristine beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the tip of the Baja Peninsula. The area provides the ultimate seclusion from the spring breakers and heavy traffic. Because of the strong under tow on the Pacific side, Mexican government does not allow swimming in the ocean. Swimming is certainly allowed on the property, however. Make sure to indulge in the circular Relaxation Pool right next to the beach and enjoy the sweeping ocean view. Can I still get to a swimmable beach? Yes, easily and quickly. There is a complimentary shuttle that runs hourly to our sister resorts Pueblo Pueblo Bonito Rose and Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos on Medano Beach, an area brimming with beach activity and people.

Is smoking allowed? Smoking is not permitted on the Pacifica property. To preserve the multi-sensory experience for ultimate relaxation, which includes aromatherapy throughout the resort, we ask those who would like to smoke to please visit our neighboring resort, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, and enjoy the cigar bar and balconies. Is drinking allowed? Yes, absolutely. The hotel remains focused on providing a relaxing and enjoyable environment while on your "ultimate getaway." We have one of the city's largest certified tequila selections and extremely knowledgeable bartenders. Be sure to check out the wine bar Refresca for a great selection of wines, spirits, healthy juices and delicious appetizers. You can also enjoy expertly crafted cocktails poolside or at the swim-up bar in the main pool. What is the Temazcal Spa Treatment? This unique steam bath spa treatment is offered at Pacifica for therapeutic, detoxifying and ritual purposes. The treatment gets its name from the actual hut where the cleansing treatment takes place, known as the "house of heat" or temazcal. Some of the benefits of the treatment are the release of muscle tension, release of negative energy and stress, filtering and cleansing of the lungs and treatment of osteoporosis among other ailments. For more information check out our previous blog post What is Temazcal? What is the Best Spa Treatment? If the Temazcal isn't your cup of tea, the Diamond Experience Facial is our most exclusive spa option. An award-winning experience created to pamper the most demanding complexions, this special facial uses an exceptional selection of Dead Sea active ingredients and aims to counteract visible signs of aging. You will be enveloped in a multi-sensory experience of ultra comfort, relaxation and well-being. Can you see the whales from the hotel? Yes, the Pacifica is perfectly placed next to the Pacific Ocean to see the graceful migration of the whales right from your room's balcony. The whale migration season goes from late December through March. To learn more, see our other blog post on Los Cabos Whale Watching. Is there a Time Share? No, Pacifica is exclusively a hotel. Because it is not an ownership program, Pacifica is a very unique pressure-free Cabo property, one definitely worth checking out.
