For sea turtles that make their home in Los Cabos, which is located at the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, the warm waters are a welcome change compared with the frigid temperatures of the Arctic Ocean. The environmental diversity and calm weather make Los Cabos an ideal destination for marine life attempting to mate and reproduce.
Pueblo Bonito Golf & Spa Resorts has spearheaded conservation efforts in the region, providing information on the turtles’ breeding habits and educating guests on the best methods for keeping these hatchlings on their natural course to the sea. Beginning in late September individuals and their families may choose to accompany our team of highly trained naturalists in order to help guide this endangered species from its nesting grounds into the ocean.
